CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Scattered showers are likely today as a weak frontal boundary slowly moves over the Coastal Bend. Heaviest rain will be concentrated in our northwestern counties early in the day with showers increasing toward the coast through early afternoon before ending this evening. Temperatures will stay in the 80s due to clouds and rain with southeast winds shifting to the northeast up to 15 mph.
Tonight will be drier with lows in the low to mid 70s and a light northeast breeze. Only isolated showers are expected Friday as the air dries out and temperatures reach the low 90s with more sunshine.
The weekend will be hot with highs in the lower 90s with an increasing rain chance Sunday night as another weak cold front moves into south Texas. Rain is more likely Monday which will drop temperatures into the upper 80s early next week.
