CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to some rather chilly temperatures this morning here in the Coastal Bend. This will give way to plenty of sunshine and mild weather this afternoon. Look for a daytime high around 71 degrees. It will also be a lot less windy today. Expect light winds from the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with some patchy fog. We will see an overnight low around 57 degrees.
We could start to the workweek with a few showers as a warm front rolls through the area. Expect a daytime high around 74 degrees on Monday. We will see a mixture of sunshine for much of the week ahead. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 70's. The next cold front is expected to roll through early next weekend. This could trigger a few isolated showers and thunderstorms late Friday into Saturday morning.
