CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two Cold Fronts are on the way in next 7 days.
We will remain warm and humid with a few spot showers around for the next couple of days, but the big weather story is a couple of cold fronts that will have some of us reaching for a light sweater and an umbrella by early next week.
The first front will be weak and will blow through late Friday knocking down the temps a few degrees for Saturday and early Sunday. Highs on Saturday will be in the low 80s and overnight lows will be in the upper 60s.
The second cold front will be the first Arctic Front of the season for much of the country, even bringing a wintry mix as far down as North Central Texas.
For the Coastal Bend our temperatures will drop into the 50s for lows and highs will be in the 60s.
We are also expecting some much-needed showers and light rain to fall across the area through the early part of the next week.
