CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — There is an isolated shower chance Wednesday but most areas will stay dry.
For today and the rest of the week look for mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 90s in Corpus Christi to 100 inland and 90 at the beaches.
Nights will drop into the low to mid-70s. Southeast winds will increase in the afternoon up to 15 mph with the sea breeze and heat indices will reach 104-109.
Next week looks more promising for rain as deep tropical moisture moves in from the Gulf beginning Sunday and increasing early in the week.
We are monitoring two tropical waves which are forecast to develop in the next few days, one which is in the Caribbean Sea and is forecast to move into the southern Gulf early next week.
