CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Good morning Coastal Bend!
I'm tracking fog and the potential for storms across our area today. As you head out, expect areas of fog, especially near our coastal waters. A Marine Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 9 a.m.
Showers and storms this morning will be fairly brief and spotty in nature, but while there will be a lull during the early afternoon, rain chances increase again tonight. This comes as a cold front moves south this morning and a reinforcing 'oomph' arrives later today.
Temperatures will not vary much on this Tuesday. Temps are starting in the low to mid 70s and after a brief cool down, will top out about where we started! Expect wind conditions today as northeast winds pick up behind the cold front. Winds will be sustained 15-2 mph, gusting as high as 40 mph.
Happy Tuesday!
