Upper-level high pressure will back away from the area and open the door for a more unstable atmosphere.

This will result in rainfall activity slowly increasing across the area, and lead to next week being a wet week in the Coastal Bend.

Tonight, expect fair skies, breezy, very humid and warm temperatures with a low of 77.

Friday we will have less wind and more sun, but it will still be breezy and hotter with a high of 91.

Friday night expect another breezy and warm, sticky night with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 77.

Saturday will also be hot, breezy and humid with only a stray inland shower and a high near 90.

Scattered thundershowers return to the area on Sunday.
