For the first time in three weeks, we had measurable rain in the area on Friday.
This was caused by a weak upper-level low/disturbance that we tracked across the Gulf much of this week.
The low will cause more instability on Saturday as it moves slowly westward through Mexico and dissipates.
Look for another, stronger low to arrive the end of next week with more likely rain.
Tonight, expect mostly-cloudy skies and tranquil, with isolated, thundershowers developing toward daybreak near the coast and a low of 74.
Saturday, expect isolated thundershowers, mainly in the morning along the coast, then inland during the afternoon, not as hot with a high of 92.
Saturday night we will have mostly-clear skies, calm and quiet with a low of 73.
Sunday we will have less clouds and more sun with generally light winds again and only a stray shower with a hotter high of 94.
The tropics are still quiet.
Enjoy your weekend.
