A southwesterly flow aloft over the central and western Gulf will initially hinder development of both Laura and T.D. No. 14.
The two systems in the Gulf early next week really complicate the forecast track and intensity.
In the meantime, a northerly flow aloft will keep it hot and sunny, and quiet, with only a few stray showers over the weekend.
Tonight we will have fair skies, with rather calm skies late, with a low of 75.
Saturday will be sunny and blazing hot again with only a stray shower from the north, again, with a high of 96.
Saturday night, expect it to be mainly clear and calm after midnight with a low of 73.
Sunday, only a stray shower again; otherwise, generally light winds, mostly sunny, and baking hot with a high of 94.
Have a good weekend.
