High pressure aloft will weaken and shift north and away from South Texas.

This will open up the Gulf and allow a little mid-level moisture to return to the area.

This, in turn, will produce more seasonal (less hot) temperatures and very little but not much rainfall over the next several days.

Tonight we will have fair skies decreasing winds after midnight with a low of 76.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, hazy, and seasonally hot with a high of 93.

Thursday night will be mainly clear and rather quiet with a low of 75.

Friday expect a mix of clouds and sunshine, not quite as hot, with a high of 92.

The heat index should be a little more reasonable topping out near 102 to 106 each afternoon.
