Unseasonably warm-to-hot weather will prevail through the middle of this week.

As a weak cold front arrives and stalls over the holiday weekend, the clouds and rain it will produce will provide some relief to our searing heat.

Tonight will be mainly clear and rather breezy, and also unseasonably warm, with a low of 84.

Tuesday will be windy, dry, and scorching hot, with lots of hazy sunshine and a high of 98, and a heat index of 115 or more.

Tuesday night still will be rather breezy and warm with a low of 83 under moonlit skies.

Wednesday, almost as windy, mostly sunny, baking hot, and dry, with a high of 97. Heat index will be around 110.
