A flash-flood watch remains for 11 of the Coastal Bend counties.

The National Weather Service issued multiple flash-flood warnings and the watch for Coastal Bend counties late Friday night and early Saturday morning after most of the area was drenched with heavy rains. But only the watch remains -- it expires at 7 p.m. Saturday.

It applies to all Coastal Bend counties except Jim Wells.

Rainfall totals of between 4 and 6 inches were expected to make their way into the Coastal Bend, with certain areas possibly seeing 10-inch rainfall.

The night also saw the issuance of a tornado warning, but none were reported in the area.

This is a developing story. Check back with KRISTV.com for updates.
