CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Most of the rain has already swept through our area.
There will be a few light sprinkles during the rest of the day, but nothing too heavy.
The heavy downpour expected never seemed to materialize. There was .25 of an inch recorded at Corpus Christi International Airport and other reports of up to half an inch from some of our weather watchers. But not nearly the soaker that was predicted.
By tomorrow, all of this will be gone as a dry cold front moves into our area. By sunrise on Friday we'll have clear dry conditions and plenty of sunshine stretching throughout the weekend.
Today: Steady rain early, cloudy and cool later. High 66.
