CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Very dry air aloft circulating around Cristobal now in the Missouri valley will produce danger heat index values on Tuesday that will top 115 degrees in many areas. A weak cold front will make temperatures more reasonable and seasonable starting on Wednesday and lasting through the rest of this week.
Tonight will be a little breezy and under moon-lit skies. We will have a very warm stuffy low of 78.
Tuesday will be mostly dry and baking hot with generally light winds and an afternoon high of 97 with a heat index of around 115 degrees.
Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy warm and sticky with a stray shower and a low of 75.
Wednesday not near as hot with isolated shower in the morning then sunny but less humid during the afternoon and a high of 91 but a heat index only near 100.
