CORPUS CHRISTI — It is another wet and chilly start to our morning here in the Coastal Bend. The temperatures have dropped into the low to mid 40s. Most of the shower activity is now moving out into the Gulf. However, a few isolated showers are continuing. We can expect partly sunny skies and warmer weather this afternoon. Look for a daytime high around 66 degrees with gusty winds out of the northwest. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly clear and cold weather conditions. Expect an overnight low around 43 degrees.
High pressure will dominate our weather for much of the work week ahead. This will bring us abundant sunshine with a gradual warming trend. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s for much of the week. The next front will be arriving on Friday. There is a slight chance for a few showers with the frontal passage. Temperatures will also drop off a bit for next weekend.
