CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Dog Days of Summer are here and we'll continue to have plenty of heat and humidity through next week and little to no rainfall.
Atmospheric moisture increases this weekend and isolated showers and storms are possible but rainfall is expected to be low with many areas missed.
For today, we'll have a stray shower chance and partly cloudy skies with a high of 93 in Corpus Christi and into the upper 90s inland.
The humidity will be slightly higher and that will cause the heat index to climb 105 to 109 this afternoon with southeast winds at 10-20 mph.
The weekend looks partly cloudy with a slight chance of thunder-showers and high temperatures in the low to mid-90s.
