CORPUS CHRISTI — It could be a wet start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. A few isolated showers have already been popping up this morning. It will also be a bit breezy. The winds will pick up this afternoon out of the southeast at 15 to 20 miles. Look for an afternoon high around 93 degrees today. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with a few showers possible. Expect an overnight low around 78 degrees. Tomorrow we can also expect some spotty showers with an afternoon high in the lower 90's.
We can expect more widespread showers again on Monday. It will be a little drier for the remainder of the work week. However, there will still be enough moisture in place to trigger a few isolated storms each afternoon. Expect daytime highs in the upper 80's to lower 90's. The overnight low temperatures will be in the mid 70's.
