CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to some clouds and drizzle for the start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. Temperatures are mostly in the mid to upper 60s. However, another cold front will roll through the area this afternoon. This will lead to a few showers and thunderstorms. It will also be breezy to windy. The forecast for today calls for mostly cloudy skies with showers possible. Look for a daytime high around 76 degrees. The winds will be shifting to the north at 15 to 20 miles per hour. It will be breezy and cooler this evening with an overnight low around 46 degrees. Sunday should be a much better day to spend outdoors. Expect mostly sunny skies tomorrow with an afternoon high of 69 degrees.

We will see a gradual warming trend for the first half of next week. Temperatures will be back in the mid 70s by Wednesday before another cold front moves through. This will bring us another big cool down for the Christmas Holiday. The forecast for Friday calls for plenty of sunshine with a daytime high of only 62 degrees
