CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Upper level high pressure will move back over the area to dominate with hot dry sinking air that will limit rainfall over the next week to just a stray shower.
Because of the high humidity due to elevated Gulf winds our heat index will routinely top 110 degrees each afternoon.
Tonight expect fair skies, a light south breeze, very warm and stuffy with a low of 81.
Friday will be dry and sweltering with mostly sunny skies and a high of 97.
Friday night will be mainly clear but remaining warm and stuffy with a low of 79.
Saturday will be breezy and blazing hot with a high of 96 under mostly sunny skies.
