CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — We'll have plenty of humidity the next few days but rain chances will be low with only isolated showers expected through the weekend as temperatures creep up slightly.
Southeast winds will continue to pump in the humid air coming off the warm Gulf water, giving us a sticky weekend with afternoon heat indices 100-108.
We'll have a better chance of showers and t-storms Monday and Tuesday as upper-level waves move across south Texas.
Thursday: Partly cloudy with isolated showers and highs in the low to mid-90s inland to the mid to upper 80s at the coast. Heat indices will reach near 100 as southeast winds increase to 15-20 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy and muggy with lows in the mid to upper 70s and southeast winds at 6-12 mph.
Friday: Partly cloudy and breezy with isolated showers. Highs will reach the low to mid-90s inland to the mid to upper 80s coast. Heat indices will reach 102 with southeast winds at 15-25 mph.
