CORPUS CHRISTI — It is going to be another warm and humid afternoon here in the Coastal Bend.
We can not rule out a stray shower popping up late in the day. Otherwise, look for mostly sunny skies with an afternoon high around 88 degrees.
The winds will be out of the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 74 degrees.
Similar weather conditions are expected again on Friday. We will see a daytime high tomorrow around 90 degrees.
Sunny and dry weather is expected for the remainder of the forecast period. Temperatures will edge up into the mid to upper 90's Sunday through Wednesday.
Please use caution when spending extended periods of time outdoors. Tropical Storm Cristobal is also likely to move through the center of the Gulf this weekend.
The main impacts for us will be higher surf and some coastal flooding. There may also be a high risk of rip currents.
