CORPUS CHRISTI — We had some isolated storms that impacted parts of the Coastal Bend this Father's Day. However, most areas remained dry with plenty of sunshine. We can expect similar weather conditions again on Monday. The chances for rain dramatically increases for the remainder of the work week. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with a stray shower possible. Expect an overnight low around 78 degrees. Look for partly sunny skies with isolated showers again tomorrow. The afternoon temperatures will also be a bit warmer. Expect a daytime high around 93 degrees Monday with a heat index value around 107 degrees. Please use caution when spending extended periods of time outdoors.
It looks like we are going to settle into a rather wet weather pattern Tuesday through Friday. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible in some locations. The daytime high temperatures will be in the upper 80's to lower 90's. The overnight low temperatures will be in the upper 70's. We are also expecting the arrival of Saharan Dust this week. This could make for some hazy skies.
