CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Stifling heat and humidity of the past couple of days takes a vacation for the next week or so, as a morning cold front sweeps moisture away from the Coastal Bend.
Scattered showers will accompany the front as it moves through the region early today, then much drier continental air takes over and reigns supreme for the rest of the week and through the weekend.
Temperatures will linger near normal throughout the period, with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
Lows will be in the lower to middle 70s.
