CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a rather wet end to the workweek here in the Coastal Bend. Showers continued on and off throughout the day.
It looks like that trend is going to continue through at least tomorrow morning, and it should start to clear out late Saturday.
The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with showers likely.
Look for an overnight low around 54 degrees; winds will shift to the north at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
The forecast for Saturday calls for more cloudy and cool weather conditions.
Expect morning showers with a daytime high around 63 degrees.
High pressure will move into the area on Sunday. This will bring us abundant sunshine for much of next week.
A gradual warming trend is expected as we get closer to the Christmas holiday.
We are looking for a daytime high of 74 degrees on Wednesday.
