CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — We'll experience another sweltering hot day across the Coastal Bend thanks to a strong ridge of high pressure that remains over the Lone Star State.
Highs will keep temperatures in the mid-upper 90s. And with all the humidity in place the Heat Index values will make it feel more like 105-110.
Rain chances will dwindle away for the remainder of the workweek. And by this weekend we should see a little more upper level support for some isolated showers and perhaps even a rumble of thunder.
Next week looks about the same as what we’re seeing now.
Tonight: Partly cloudy and humid. Low: 78.
Thursday-Friday: Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Highs: 94-98 with heat index readings from 105-110.
