CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was another day of dangerous heat here in the Coastal Bend with a blistering heat index value of around 110 degrees this afternoon.
Our actual daytime high temperature was 96 degrees and it was also rather breezy with a peak wind gust out of the southeast at 32 mph.
This hot and humid weather pattern is going to continue through much of the workweek. Daytime highs will be in the mid 90’s with overnight low temperatures around 80 degrees.
We will see increasing moisture heading into next weekend, perhaps leading into a bit more widespread rainfall.
