CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a sunny and warm start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We did make it up to 93 degrees this afternoon. We can expect similar weather conditions for Sunday. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly clear skies with some patchy fog developing overnight. We can also expect light winds out of the southeast tomorrow.
Our weather pattern is in for some drastic changes for the week ahead. The first real cold front of the season will be arriving on Monday. There is a pretty good chance for a few showers and thunderstorms with the frontal passage. It will then be sunny and cooler through mid week. Temperatures will warm back up to the lowers 90's on Thursday. A stronger cold front will move through on Friday. This will bring daytime highs in the mid 70's with overnight lows in the 60's.
