CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — High pressure moving into the Gulf of Mexico is returning low level moisture to the Coastal Bend, and with light wind overnight widespread fog is expected.

Fog will be dense over inland areas, but very warm and breezy afternoons are expected through Tuesday. A cold front will be close to the area midweek and generate widespread rain showers. The strong southeasterly winds Tuesday and Wednesday will place abundant moisture in the path of the cold front, and resulting precipitation will amount to between 1/2 and 2/3 of an inch before ending midday Thursday.

Another chance for rain is possible late Saturday. Temperatures will be well above normal, with highs in the 70s and lows from the 50s to 60s.
