But don't expect any heavy rain until Wednesday afternoon.
Today will be mostly cloudy with light rain possible late this evening.
The stronger showers and possible thundershowers will roll by Wednesday afternoon as the showers will continue through the rest of the evening and into Thursday.
There could be flooding conditions early Thursday, but drying weather will show up by the end of the day with a great chance for a sunny, dry weekend.
