CORPUS CHRISTI — It's going to be another hot and humid start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. Isolated to scattered showers will be possible this afternoon. A weak front stalled along the hill country is expected to help trigger some of these storms. It will be a little drier on Sunday. The forecast for today calls for mostly sunny skies with showers possible. Look for a daytime high around 95 degrees. The winds will be light out of the the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect mostly cloudy skies with a stray shower. Look for an overnight low around 76 degrees. It will be hot and dry on Sunday with an afternoon high of 96 degrees.
High pressure will build into the Lone Star State for much of next week. That means it will mostly be hot and dry. Daytime high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s. The overnight low temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s. The winds will pick up a bit midweek.
