CORPUS CHRISTI — It's going to be a pretty nice start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We are waking up to a little bit of patchy fog. This will give way to a mixture of sunshine and clouds this afternoon. Look for an afternoon high around 75 degrees today. However, it will be rather breezy this afternoon. The winds will pick up out of the southeast at 10 to 20 miles per hour. We will see increasing moisture the next several days. This will bring in a lot more cloud cover along with the possibility of showers. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with some patchy fog. Expect an overnight low around 64 degrees. The end of the weekend will bring us mostly cloudy skies with a few showers. Expect a daytime high of 75 degrees.
It could be a wet start to our workweek. Showers are likely Monday through Wednesday. Temperatures will be in the mid 70's again on Monday. A cold front will roll through late Monday night and stall here in South Texas. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid 60's the remainder of the week. We should start to see some clearing skies on Thursday and Friday.
