CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The new track of Hurricane Marco now shows that it could have more of an impact along the upper Texas coast.

The storm is expected to arrive along the Louisiana coast on Monday as a Category 1 hurricane and then move towards the Lone Star State. It will likely be a tropical storm as it arrives near Port Arthur and could spread rainfall from Houston to San Antonio.

Another stronger hurricane is also set to move in along the Texas/Louisiana border midweek. Tropical Storm Laura will likely be a Category 2 storms when in moves onshore Wednesday.

It was another pleasant end to our weekend with a mixture of sunshine and clouds.

We made it up to 92 degrees with a trace of rainfall reported out at the airport.

Expect similar weather conditions for Monday. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with an overnight low of 77. Look for a few stray showers on Monday with an afternoon high of 93.
