CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Our weather is in a repeat, rinse mode as the persistent upper-level high-pressure area sticks around South Texas for the next several days.

Highs will remain in the middle to upper 90s with afternoon heat indices between 105 and 110 degrees through the weekend, except for an isolated t-shower Sunday, it will remain dry.

A trough of low pressure is forecast to dig across the Mississippi valley early next week, sending a weak cold front into South Texas.

It will finally bring rain chances next Monday night through Wednesday as it stalls just to our north. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible ahead of the boundary.
