CORPUS CHRISTI, Texxas — It was a terrific rain over the weekend, but this week is just going to be sunny and hot.
High pressure is taking over the Southern Plains and that puts all of Texas under sinking air. That will push the temperatures up into the low 90's for most of the week.
And our humidity will be rising as well. On the east coast, Tropical Storm Arthur will spread significant rain over the Carolinas today and will move back out to sea by Wednesday.
Monday: Sunny and hot. High 90.
Tuesday: Sunny and hot. High 92.
Wednesday: Sunny, hot and humid. High 93.
Thursday: Sunny and humid. High 92.
Friday: Mostly sunny and hot. High 91.
