CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Off the heels of a fantastic weekend with cold mornings and plenty of afternoon sunshine, the week ahead will have its highs and lows with warmer temperatures for the first half of the week and cooler temperatures for the end of the week.
Also mixed in will be some rain chances as well.
Today will feature a good amount of sunshine and light winds out of the east-southeast around 5-10 mph. Afternoon high temperatures will be around 78 in Corpus Christi with some low 80s inland.
Tonight will be quiet and cool with a low of 55.
A weak cold front will wash out over the region by tomorrow afternoon and throw a few clouds our way. Temperatures will still be on the warmer side with highs in the middle 70s for most locations.
Rain chances will increase Wednesday when another cold front pushes through the region in the afternoon. We'll only look for isolated showers and rainfall amounts around a few tenths with the frontal passage.
Cooler temperatures will follow as morning lows drop into the 40s for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday looks very nice with a high near 70.
Clouds will begin to increase early in the weekend ahead of the next strong cold front which is, for now, forecast to arrive on Sunday/ A lot of wind, scattered showers and colder temperatures are expected with that front arrival.
Have a great day!
