CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was a chilly and breezy day here in the Coastal Bend.
We saw a daytime high of 59 degrees with a peak wind gust of 45 miles per hour.
It is also going to be a very cold evening.
A Freeze Warning has been issued for inland county areas and those south of Corpus Christi. Temperatures are expected to drop just below freezing.
Nueces County is not included in the warning. The forecast for tonight calls for clear and cold weather conditions.
Look for an overnight low around 33 degrees. It will be sunny and warmer for Christmas Day.
Expect an afternoon high tomorrow around 68 degrees. A gradual warming trend is likely early through next week. The next front will arrive midweek. This will bring us a pretty good chance for showers late Tuesday into Wednesday.
