CORPUS CHRISTI — A little drier air will be filtering into South Texas for the end to the weekend. That means the shower activity will be a lot less widespread than we say yesterday. However, the above average temperatures will continue. The forecast for today calls for mostly sunny skies with an isolated storm possible. Look for a daytime high around 94 degrees. It will also be a bit breezy. The winds will be picking up out of the southeast at 15 to 20 miles per hour.
Another surge of moisture will be moving in our direction tonight. This will lead to increasing chances of rain. Expect an overnight low around 79 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will be likely for the start to the workweek. The showers will then taper off for the remainder of the week. There will be enough moisture in place to to trigger a few stray showers each afternoon. Daytime highs will be in the lower 90's with overnight lows in the mid 70's.
