CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A weak dome of surface high pressure is bringing generally fair weather the first portion of this week, but its slow progression east will allow just enough Gulf moisture for patchy early morning fog Monday and Tuesday.
Scattered thunderstorms erupt along a cold front Wednesday, with clear, dry conditions for the rest of the week. Another storm system late Saturday into Sunday may bring more significant rainfall, but its timing, location and intensity are still to be determined.
Expect highs in the 70s, cooling to the 60s Thursday through Sunday. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s.
