CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Weak surface high pressure building into the Coastal Bend this afternoon will maintain cool temperatures through tonight, but a slow warm-up begins early Monday.
By midweek, daytime temperatures will have warmed into the middle 70s and enough Gulf moisture will have returned to support precipitation. An upper level trough and its associated cold front lift the moisture to allow isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Fair and mild conditions should prevail Thursday through Saturday. Expect highs in the 70s and lows in the 40s and 50s through the next seven days.
