CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Canadian high pressure will build right over south Texas tonight and cause our winds to weaken and result in a very cold night with temperatures approaching freezing in most areas away from the water near the coast. As the high moves east our temperatures will gradually warm up over the next several days.

Tonight will be clear calmer and rather cold with a low of 32 but warmer near the water and even a little colder further inland. Tender plants can be protected by watering them.

Thursday expect a cold start then sunny very light winds very dry and a pleasantly cool high of near 60.

Thursday night will be crystal clear calm and cold with a low of 36.

Friday will be fantastic with sunny skies again along with light winds and low humidity expect a nigh near 70.

Stay warm and enjoy.
