CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — We'll have a quiet Labor Day with light winds and a high of 92 which is normal for early September. A stray shower is possible but it looks mainly dry for the holiday.
Heat indices will stay under 104 today across the Coastal Bend. There won't much change Tuesday as our highs stay in the low 90s.
We've been tracking a cold front for later this week which is not expected to arrive until Thursday, cooling us a few degrees for the end of the week, into the upper 80s to near 90 as winds shift to the northeast.
Scattered showers and t-storms are possible ahead of the front Wednesday into Thursday.
There is still uncertainty on the timing of the front as newer forecast models are slowing it down and keeping the coolest air to our north.
