CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — There's nothing surprising in our weather the next few days as our typical August weather continues.

The sea breeze will pump in warm, moist air from the Gulf, and surface humidity will slowly climb. By the weekend, it will be more humid as dew points reach into the upper 70s. We'll continue to have mostly sunny skies through Friday.

A few showers and t-storms are possible over the Coastal Bend this weekend as moisture in the atmosphere increases in unstable air.

Afternoon temperatures will hover near seasonal averages, reaching the low to mid-90s with heat indices at 105-110.

For today, some patchy early morning fog is possible followed by mostly sunny skies.

High temperatures will reach the upper 90s inland to near 90 at the coast with calm winds early increasing to 15 mph in the afternoon from the southeast.
