Expect Another Blast of Cold Air

CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a cloudy and pleasant end to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. The afternoon temperatures were a bit above normal. We did make it up to 78 degrees today with the peak wind gust out of the south at 35 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 64 degrees. A weak cold front will shift our winds to the north on Monday. There is also a very slight chance of a shower developing with the frontal passage. However, temperatures will continue in the mid to upper 70's through Tuesday.

A much stronger cold front will push through South Texas Tuesday evening. This will be a dry front with little to no chance for rain. It will bring rather windy conditions that will linger through Wednesday. Our temperatures will also plummet. Our daytime high temperatures will only be in the upper 50's to lower 60's both Wednesday and Thursday. The overnight low temperatures will be in the upper 30's to lower 40's. A gradual warm up is expected as we get closer to next weekend.
