Drying out and heating up

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — We will continue to see hotter and drier weather as upper level high pressure with sinking air returns to the area. It is this same upper level high that will protect us from Cristobal and prevent the storm from coming here.

Tonight expect mainly clear skies some light patchy fog calm and quiet with a low of 73.

Thursday night will be mostly clear nearly calm and quiet again with a low of 72.

Friday we will have lots of sunshine light winds dry and hotter with a high of 92.

The only effects from Cristobal as it appears now will be higher than normal tides and a dangerous rip current risk.

Stay Tuned.
