CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to some pretty thick fog across much of the Coastal Bend this morning. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued through 9 am. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution when out on the the streets the next couple of hours. This will give way to sunny and warmer weather conditions this afternoon. Look for a daytime high today around 77 degrees. The forecast for tonight calls for increasing clouds and more patchy fog. Expect an overnight low around 64 degrees. It will be partly sunny and even warmer on Monday. The forecast calls for an afternoon high around 83 degrees tomorrow.
A strong cold front will roll through South Texas early Tuesday morning. There is a slight chance for a few showers with the frontal passage. It will turn windy and cooler Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will hold steady in the upper 50's. We are also looking for some rather chilly mornings midweek. Temperatures will drop into the lower to mid 40's Wednesday and Thursday. A gradual warm up is expected as we move closer to next weekend.
