Cooler air moves in to start the weekend, stronger cold front next week

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — A weak cold front will move through Friday evening, shifting winds to the north and bringing in some overnight clouds and a stray shower chance.

Highs on Saturday will be around 80 and overnight lows will be in the upper 60's with skies becoming mostly sunny.

We'll warm back up Sunday and Monday as winds shift to the south. A stronger cold front will move in Tuesday, making it's presence with wind, clouds, showers and cooler air which will settle in for the middle of the week.

Today: Mostly sunny with a high near 90 and southeast to east winds at 6-12 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a stray shower chance and a low of 64 with north winds at 10-20 mph.Saturday: Morning clouds clearing with decreasing northeast winds to 10 mph, shifting to the east. Highs will reach the upper 70s to near 80.

Sunday: Partly cloudy, breezy and warmer with a high near 90 and southeast winds at 12-22 mph.
