Cold temperatures expected because of incoming Canadian air

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Cold Canadian air will continue to invade much of the country east of the Rockies for the rest of this week.

Temperatures will remain below normal through Saturday morning and be near freezing Thursday morning except near the water, before we start to warm-up over the weekend again.

Winds will gust to 40 mph with the cold air arriving tonight and Wednesday.

Tonight turning windy dry and colder with a low of 45. Wednesday will be sunny windy and unseasonably chilly with a high of only near 60.

Wednesday night we will have decreasing winds clear skies and colder temperatures with a low of 33. But it will be colder further inland and a little milder near the water.

Thursday will be sunny but cool with a lot less wind and a high near 60.
