CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was another beautiful day here in the Coastal Bend. We saw a mixture of sunshine and clouds with a daytime high of 75 degrees.
It was also a bit breezy. Our peak wind gust was blowing out of the east at 22 miles per hour.
The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with some patchy fog. Look for an overnight low around 64 degrees.
It will be breezy and warm again on Saturday. Expect an afternoon high of 77 degrees.
The winds will be picking up from the south at 15-to-20 miles per hour. A cold front will roll through the area Saturday evening. A few showers will be possible.
It will be sunny and a little cooler for the end to the weekend, with an afternoon high around 70 degrees on Sunday.
The forecast calls for temperatures in the mid 60's on Monday, with mostly sunny skies.
Showers will be on the increase Tuesday through Thursday.
New Year's Day will likely be the wettest day of the week. We will see a gradual warming trend for the latter half of the week.
