CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — As Beta weakens and moves slowly to the northeast, light rain showers today will gradually end.

Coastal flooding is still ongoing due to high seas and will gradually improve in the next day. The rest of the week we'll dry out and heat up with high temperatures back to near 90 and abundant sunshine.

Tuesday looks mostly cloudy with high temperatures in the lower 80s and west-northwest winds at 12-20 mph.

The clouds will stick around tonight with lows near 70 and a northwest breeze at 8-15 mph.

Wednesday we'll have partly cloudy skies and it will be warmer with highs in the upper 80s.
