CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Temperatures will remain well above normal for this time of year throughout the week, although some brief cooling is expected Wednesday and Thursday.

Little to none of the much needed precipitation is expected. A series of upper level disturbances will glide from west to east across the Nation over the next several days, but their main energy will stay too far north of South Texas to bring meaningful rainfall or lasting cold. Instead, expect minor cold fronts midday Monday and again Tuesday night. Only a few showers are anticipated early Monday morning.

Highs remain in the 70s to near 80, except for lower 60s on Thursday. Lows will be in the 50s and 60s, with middle 40s on Wednesday.
