CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An upper level storm system moving out of the southern Rockies and into the northern sections of Mexico will approach south Texas from the west and bring a good opportunity for rain especially near the coast. The system will pull a warm front through the area on Wednesday followed by a cold front on Thursday which will clear us out completely for the weekend.

Tonight expect increasing clouds and humidity still chilly with a low of 46.
Tuesday will be cloudy damp and cool with a high of only 63.

New Years eve will be cloudy damp and milder with some light fog late and showers developing after midnight and a low of 54.

New Years Day will be wet and mild with numerous showers likely (some locally heavy near the coast) and a high of 66.

Rain tapers off and ends on Thursday.
